Contact Bailiwick Press

What's you Bailiwick?
We love to write them and read them and talk about them. So we decided what the heck. We might as well publish them too.
We also think that books don’t just entertain. They change who we are, sometimes subtly, sometimes profoundly. We try to
publish books that, in their own small way, change us for the better.

Thanks for Reading

Bailiwick's Books

Dancing in Combat Boots Dancing in Combat Boots
Based on true stories. When the going got tough during World War II, America’s women got going. By the millions, they stepped into factories, offices, hospitals—anywhere capable hands were needed. The eleven fictional stories in this remarkable collection are based on real women whose experiences were at once typical and extraordinary.

From the topsy-turvy days following Pearl Harbor, through
four long years of hardship, to the post-war campaigns to
put women back in their place, these stories reveal the many facets of women’s lives as they gave their all for the war effort.
